Can This Get My Buddy Out Of His Real Estate Contract?
mrjoebuchanan asked:
My buddy is currently trying to sell his house and he’s stuck with a horrible Real Estate Agent. He’s trying to think of any way to get out of his contract with the Real Estate Agent, rather then be stuck another 2 months with them. He noticed a mistake made on the contractual paperwork. The Real Estate Agent signed his name in the ‘date’ field and there is no signature in the ’signature’ field. Is that enough for him to contest the validity of the contract and give him a shot at getting out of the contract?

The same firm with which the managing broker to discuss the contract can be transferred to discuss the individual agent within the contract can be transferred to another more qualified agent or the agent within the same firm its worth shot.

No, that won’t work.
BUT, the contract is NOT with the agent. Agents can’t have their own contracts. The actual contract is with the agents broker. Have your friend request to be reassigned to another agent. It is no big deal and brokers hear it all of the time. He or she will appreciate hearing that an agent is not meeting your needs and will resolve the situation.
